Jenny & Rodrigo's Wedding in a 19th Century "Casona"
Jenny Diaz, a renowned wedding planner and sister to our director, Manuel Diaz, had a unique and meaningful vision for her wedding with Rodrigo. This special event was a blend of familial bonds and professional expertise, making the planning and the resulting video profoundly significant.
Getting Ready | Black-Themed
The wedding took place in a historic mansion from the 1890s, where the location's charm was beautifully integrated into the overall setup. The day of the wedding began with Jenny's getting ready at Hotel Casa Cocula, surrounded by her family and closest friends. From there, they moved to "La Cofradía," with a black-themed dress code for the guests.
Mariachi & A Tree Reception
After the ceremony, a mariachi band led a joyous procession around the plaza's kiosk. The guests then moved to the welcome cocktail, where they found their seating assignments and enjoyed the musical ambiance provided by Medu. One of the standout features of the decoration was a giant tree in the central courtyard, adding a magical touch to the setting.
Champagne and Fireworks
At 8 PM, a champagne fountain accompanied the couple's toast, followed by heartfelt speeches from Jenny and Rodrigo. The evening proceeded with a sumptuous four-course dinner accompanied by funk cover music. The couple's first dance and the parent dances were enhanced by bubble and confetti effects, culminating in a stunning aerial fireworks display that opened the dance floor for everyone.
The celebration also included the traditional bouquet and garter toss, with a twist of mixed participation from both men and women. It was a night filled with love, laughter, and memorable moments, captured perfectly on video
to be cherished forever.
